The fanbase for south Indian films has always been vast. The star cast and the action of these films have always been a major attraction for the audience. Another addition to the amazing south Indian action drama films is the upcoming Kannada language release, “Bagheera” released on 31st October 2024. Having reached the heights of “Highest grossed Kannada film of 2024”, this film was directed by Dr. Suri, starring Sriimurali, Rukmini Vasanth, alongside Prakash Raj, Sudha Rani and Rangayana Raghu.
This superhero film, is based on the theme of how in times of turmoil, God doesn’t always appear in the form of God, but also sometimes in the form of demons as shown in the trailer.
The plot of the movie is about how, a police officer Vedanth wears a mask and turns himself into “Bagheera” in order to protect the people from injustice and get them justice. As shown in the trailer, the police officers discuss amongst themselves that Bagheera is killing the criminals and doing their job. The head wants Bagheera, dead or alive at any cost. The trailer ends with Bagheera’s powerful statement that he wasn’t even afraid of his own shadow in the mirror, then how and why should I be afraid of anyone else?
