Black Warrant is an upcoming seven episode series, created by Vikramaditya Motwane and Satyanshu Singh, released on Netflix on 10th January 2025. Based in the 1980s, the series throws light on the life, behind the walls of Tihar Jail, through the eyes of a prison superintendent. It is a series, based on real life.

The twist here being, the soft spoken, goofy personality of the protagonist far away from the set personality of a jailer, being highly masculine. His opposing personality, loosens the criminal gangs, while the jailers have their eye on him. The series Black Warrant is majorly focused on one man’s fight, against the system he’s a part of, with him trying to change the perception without changing himself.
