Finally after a long delay and constant postponement, the Indian Tamil language vigilant action film Indian 2 is sure to hit the theatres on 12th July 2024. There have been several reasons for the continuous delay of the film such as opting out of the production team, deaths of three crew members in an accident, delay due to pandemic etc. However all the constant delay has just added up to the increased expectations and much more entertainment from the film.
It is a film directed by “Shankar Shanmugam” starring Ulanganayagan Kamal Haasan and Siddharth as the lead roles. It is a sequel to the 1996 movie, “Indian”. This movie is said to show the return of Senapathy to India, in order to fight in support of a young blood Siddharth, fighting against corruption on social media.
As of now the rumours on social media are attracting a lot of techies. It will be interesting to wait till the release of the Indian 2, just to see whether or not this strong take of the producer Shankar, on corrupted politics attracts any controversy or not. Due to its long storyline of almost six hours the movie was split into two parts, with the third part expected to be released next year.
