The “12th Fail” fame Vikrant Massey is ready to bounce back again to Bollywood along with Raashii Khanna, with his upcoming film, “The Sabarmati Report” which is already released to set theatres on 15th November 2024. After a lot of changes in the dates, shifting from may to August and now in November, the film is finally ready to face the world.

The Sabarmati Report is based on a historic event, that runs shivers down the spine of people even today. The plot of the film, is about the unfortunate burning of the Sabarmati Express, in Godhra of Gujarat. The event dates back to 27th February, 2002 where the Sabarmati Express train that left Godhra station was burnt down by a mob. The train accident took the lives of 59 people and almost 1500 people lost their lives in the violence that occurred in Gujarat after the train accident. The makers are dedicating the film to the lives of the people lost.
